POSTCARDS: Panorama of Sta. Fe., Bantayan Island

Motorcycling around Bantayan Island in northern Cebu without a map—and street signs for that matter—brought us to this corner tucked away from the resorts. Around it are several other houses as well, most likely of expats (there is a lot of them in this island).

We also spotted several foreigners on motorcycles stopping by this cliffside spot to take in the view (we were also coming and going for a whole day for lack of anywhere else to go). It’s a good spot to see the sunset as well, and the waters below it looked perfect for swimming.

Too bad this house fell into disrepair (we could not remember exactly what we were told—the expat owner either died or left for good, and no one has looked after the house since). That said, we’re glad we could share in the space.
